Indian Valley uses Securly as an Internet filter to help keep Middle School and High School students safe on their school issued Chromebooks. Starting December 20th, parents of Middle School or High School students who have registered a valid email address through our online registration portal, OneView, will receive a weekly email from Securly showing a preview of your child’s online activity from their school issued Chromebook. The email will also give the ability to set up Securly’s parent access for more detailed information of activity as well.
If you do not receive these emails, and believe you should, then we do not have a valid email address for you through the online registration portal, OneView. You can check registration information by accessing your OneView account
. If you need further assistance, contact the appropriate school building after Christmas break. If you are having issues with the Securly Parent Portal itself, you are able to contact Securly’s support at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Below are links to documents giving more information about Securly’s parent access and a video tutorial on how it works.
Thank you and have a good holiday!
