July 26, 2021 Announcement Regarding the 2021-2022 School Year

Indian Valley Local Schools does not plan to require masks of students, staff or visitors. Our intention is to conduct school as we did pre-pandemic.  If we are mandated otherwise or this information changes, families will be notified in due time.  Additionally, Governor DeWine's Office is reported to be releasing guidance for schools today.  Once this happens, it will take time to study the release and determine to what extent it impacts our intent.

Connecting Appalachia Speedtest and Rural Broadband Survey

State and federal agencies are preparing to spend billions of dollars on rural broadband internet access.  We want to help those agencies understand the need for high-speed internet in our region of Ohio.  Please take a moment to complete this 5-minute survey regarding how well you are able to access the internet at your home. The survey asks for your download and upload speeds. You can find out how to get that information here.

Interims Checks

Change to Issuing Interim Reports

Rather than issue interim reports each quarter, we are encouraging families to go online and view their child's progress live.  We are shifting from sending home paper to providing support for all families to have real time access to their child's progress.  At the end of each quarter, we will continue to send home paper report cards.
